Meet the team

Suzanne Wolton, LLB(Hons), ACA, MinstD, Dip.Clin.Hyp

Suzanne Wolton is a professional director, senior leader, speaker, coach, qualified hypnotherapist and a Managing Director of Communication Counts. She helps people become great leaders, strategists, influencers and speakers.

Suzanne has 25+ years’ experience as a board member and senior executive reporting to boards in large enterprises. She pursues strategies which generate long-term customer loyalty and trust, exceptional staff engagement, and, as a result, great shareholder returns. She also works with organisations and senior executives wishing to build a culture of purposeful debate.

Suzanne understands what boards need in order to make informed decisions and how to build credibility with boards. She knows how to bring together different shareholder interests through purposeful debate.

In the public speaking arena Suzanne has done everything from speaking at large conferences about complex financial issues, to stand-up comedy. She understands that whatever the message is, it is best conveyed through the art of storytelling. She has made numerous television appearances and fronted some of New Zealand’s most controversial issues such as the insurance response to the Canterbury earthquakes. Suzanne is genuine, realistic, empathetic and honest about the facts.

Suzanne is also a qualified hypnotherapist specialising in helping people to become better business leaders and speakers. She safely and effectively combines hypnotherapy with coaching in order to amplify a person’s strengths and reduce their fears.

Finally, Suzanne is the owner of a small business, Jessica’s, a wig salon catering to women with hair loss.

Caroline Cranshaw, Dip. Adv. Clin. Hyp. NZAPH

Caroline Cranshaw is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Sex & Relationship Coach and Holistic Health Coach. Caroline has a full time practice in St Heliers, Auckland.

Caroline is the founder and head trainer at The Integrative Hypnotherapy Institute, facilitating individual workshops and providing corporate training.

Caroline regularly gives advice on The Hits breakfast show Laura, Sam and Toni. She is also the author of the Amazon bestseller The Smoking Cure.

Caroline believes health starts with our thoughts and beliefs and filters down through to our physical experience. She has spent her life on a quest to find out what makes people tick. Why we do the things we do. What motivates us? Why do some people become stronger from traumatic experiences and others let it become their downfall? Why do some people die from relatively minor illnesses while others get to death's door and come back stronger than ever? Your health can be a bit of a puzzle, sometimes all it takes is finding that missing piece.

Studying psychology and nutrition at university, she became disillusioned with the results of traditional therapy. After a visit to a hypnotherapist, Caroline realized that hypnosis combined with therapy could access deep issues and clear them in just a few sessions.

Caroline’s qualifications include a Diploma in Hypnotherapy, a Diploma in Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy, Certificates in Counselling in addition to further specialized training in the USA in Medical Hypnosis with Dr John Butler, NLP, Life Coaching and Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy with Steve G. Jones, Parts Therapy with Roy Hunter, Transforming Therapy with Gil Boyne and Advanced Hypnotherapeutic Techniques with Andrew Newton.

She has done advanced training in addictions and has Diplomas in Advanced Clinical Weight Loss and Nutritional Therapy, is a Holistic Life Coach, Food Psychology Coach and has also trained with Dr. Eric Pearl and is a Reconnective Healing Practitioner.

Caroline believes that within each of us lies the wisdom to create a happy, healthy life. However, we are often held back by attitudes and beliefs that lessen our self-esteem, block our creativity, and limit our resourcefulness. Thankfully, she knows that we never lose the ability to heal ourselves no matter how hopeless we may feel.
